Details of the multiplayer in The Last of Us have been released just a week removed from the release of Naughty Dog's upcoming game. The multiplayer is called Factions - and there are two mode - Supply Raid and Survivors, TheSixthAxis reports. Both modes features two teams of four people in seven maps. The modes are pretty much what they sound like - in Supply Raid the objective is to find supplies and in Survivors you play seven rounds and when you die you remain dead until the next round.
There are two factions to pick from and your multiplayer character can be customised with clothes and gestures, most of which are unlockables. There are four default classes - assault, sniper, support and stealth, as well as four custom slots and you can also pick different skills and boosts (or perks if you will).
The Last of Us is set for release on June 14, exclusively on PlayStation 3.
