First Destiny CG trailer due today

We've had some odd marketing packages come through to the Gamereactor offices to advertise the arrival of everything from events to retail releases: usually its pens or t-shirts.

This morning we received an announcement from Activision that the first CG trailer for Bungie's Destiny is due sometime later today...but wrapped in the letter was a copy of Rudyard Kipling's The Second Jungle Book, with a Destiny bookmark inserted at the "The Law of the Jungle" chapter.

The chapter's four pages lists various laws of the jungle, the opening page carries the following:

"Now this is the Law of the Jungle - as old and as true as the sky; And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back - For the strength of the pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

Was daily from nose-tip to tail-tip; drink deeply, but never too deep; and remember the night is for hunting, and forget not the day is for sleep."

If you're looking for a break from Xbox One news, you can sit and puzzle out what Bungie will be showing before the day's through. We doubt it'll be that Destiny carries a Baloo singalong mode.
