Pan Macmillan are teaming up with Sega and Creative Assembly to release Total War: Rome - Destroy Carthage, the first in a series of novels inspired by the strategy series, and written by David Gibbins.
The first novel in the series is set to released alongside Total War: Rome II, which is due to launch in early September.
"The story follows Fabius Petronius Secundus - Roman legionary and centurion - and his rise to power; from his first battle against the Macedonians, that seals the fate of Alexander the Great's Empire, to total war in North Africa and the harrowing events of the Siege of Carthage."
