While we awarded Dragon Age II a healthy 8/10 in our review, we - and many of you - still had complaints about the game compared to the original. And it seems like Bioware, luckily, are aware of the problems the game had.

In a post on the official Bioware forums, lead designer Mike Laidlaw admits that the game was far from perfect, bringing up issues like "level re-use, the implementation of wave combat, concerns about the narrative and significance of choice."

"I'm not only aware of the concerns, but I agree that there are aspects of DA II that not only can but must be improved in future installments. And that is precisely our intent," he adds.
