Aliens vs. Predator return, Colonial Marines delayed

Sega have announced that they have tasked British developer Rebellion with creating a new Aliens vs. Predator game. This is the third and latest Aliens related game to be announced by Sega with Aliens: Colonial Marines from Gearbox and Obsidian's RPG set in the Aliens universe also on the way. But interestingly enough Sega are now saying Aliens vs. Predator will be the first of these to launch. Aliens: Colonial Marines have been scheduled for a release this quarter, but now seems to be pushed back by a year or more. We assume that it is due for more than just some superficial polishing until then.
