Do you remember the Guild Wars 2 April's Fool, where ArenaNet introduced the Commando? That wasn't real, of course, but the class revealed today do carry some of the Commando-traits - especially the cool gadgets and guns. The Engineer has embraced the technological advancement that after all has taken place during the 250 years between Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 and can use both rifles and pistols.
The Engineer can also use flame throwers, throw grenades (that allow him to freeze, blind or poison enemies) and place various turrets to aid himself and his companions.

But we're not sure if that means development is just beginning, or work has already been done.
The game recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary, and is still doing so with a new in-game event.
We're going to be checking out the game's third expansion, End of Dragons, for four hours.
Tonight's live stream also revealed details on its story and new mechanics.
It's now planned to launch in 2022.
