Square Enix are progressing with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, but as it the case with most MMORPGs things sometimes need a little more time. The third phase of the beta period, where PS3 owners will be brought into the fold has been pushed back to June (rather than May). The fourth and final phase will include 1-2 weeks of open beta, and after that the game should see release. Of course, the release date will depend on how much work there is in between beta phases as Square Enix look to release a polished experience day one.
