Bloomberg reports that Robert Kotick, CEO and President of Activision received $64.9 million worth of compensation for his work at the publisher last year. The main bulk was stock worth $55.9 million as part of a new employment agreement. The total value puts Kotick as the second highest paid CEO in America.

While Activision has been on a roll as of late, with an annual net income of $1.15 billion, there are critical voices about the size and structure of his compensation. And we're pretty sure folks at the various studios Kotick has been closing down may not feel he's entirely deserving of his plentiful pay.
