Thomas Was Alone, the BAFTA-winning game from Mike Bithell (and ported to console by Curve Studios) is out on PS3 and PS Vita today. Alongside the release of the game there's already DLC available, in the form of Benjamin's Flight (three new characters, a new ability, and a backstory that underpins the main game).

The game will cost £5.99, and the DLC pack will be an additional £1.99. European Playstation Plus subscribers will be able to download the game for free.

Mike Bithell said: "I am incredibly proud to see Thomas getting a mainstream console release and the guys at Curve Studios have done an awesome job making this version special. Thomas took over my life for the last two years so it's great to see it reaching an even wider audience".

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"The PC version of this charming platformer passed us by, so when it arrived on PS Vita at the tail-end of last month, it seemed the perfect opportunity to see what it has to offer."
