SimCity hits Mac on June 11

You only need to buy the game once.

EA and Maxis have confirmed that Mac owners will get to enjoy SimCity on June 11. The game will only be available digitally, and Mac players will play on the same servers as PC players.

"You only need to buy SimCity once to play together across the same servers, regardless of which version you're playing," Maxis' Lucy Bradshaw explains.

"We didn't want to make any compromises when it came to the Mac so we created a native version that is optimised for the hardware and OSX."
