Defiance, the MMO shooter from Trion Worlds, is being constantly updated and tweaked in the week after launch (a trend set to continue). Trion's Nathan Richardsson posted a lengthy blog on the subject today, describing some of the teething issues being experienced by the game.

The shooter, which has been made in conjunction with the TV show set to be aired on Syfy next week, has had a couple of minor issues post-launch. The blog post reveals: "We're still taking down the servers to deploy code fixes or reconfiguration at a pretty rapid rate. Some platforms and regions will experience this even two times a day."

Problems seem to centered more around North American servers, with other platforms and region's "servers running pretty great since launch".

Trion are prioritising their efforts, with server crashes top of their list, followed by solving issues regarding disappearing items, and then chat & VOIP problems. These issues have meant that planned DLC has been pushed back a week "to provide further focus on fixes".
