Peter Vesterbacka from Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds, said at a panel at the South by Southwest Interactive conference that traditional console games are "dying" while mobile gaming is growing - Venturebeat reports. He also said he was tired of the label "casual gaming," claiming that what is usually called "casual" can be just as involving as traditional games and that no one talked about "casual movies."
Rovio's Angry Birds has been hugely successful, with revenues sitting around £50 million after an initial $140,000 investment.
