Driveclub announced for PS4

Matt Southern from Evolution Studio was on hand to announce Driveclub, a new team racing game for Playstation 4, at Sony's press conference. It's a game about working in a team, collaborative play, and as Southern states: "driving the very best cars in the world, in the best locations in the world."

He described it a "a game to play in real clubs," that "rewards you for playing in groups, even if you're not near the top of the leaderboards."

Most exciting about the announcement was the fact that the game is using first person perspective, described as more than just a cockpit view.

The attention to detail on show was impressive, as Southern described the studio's approach as going "borderline insane with real world details."
