Crysis 2 leaks on to the net

Late Friday a thread was creating at Facepunch where the news that a near-finished and complete (fully playable campaign + multiplayer) version of Crysis 2 was available to download. More than a month prior to the games release. This almost finished beta version of the game also came with the master keys to the piracy protection.

"Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites"</i>, EA told Kotaku in a statement following the leak. <i>"Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and purchasing the final, polished game on March 22."

Crysis 2 is set to release on PC and consoles late March. Officially that is.
