Free Magicka weekend on Steam

Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Game Studios are celebrating two years of Magicka with a free weekend on Steam, and a free downloadable challenge map dubbed Free Jólnir's Workshop.

The game has sold in excess of 1.8 million copies to date and stands as one of the biggest success stories of the publisher spawning multiple free and paid expansions and download packs including Magicka: Vietnam, Magicka: The Stars Are Left and Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin. All the Magicka content is discounted by 75 percent during the promotion, but as previously mentioned you can play it free of charge this weekend to try it out for yourself.
