No Battlefield 3 for XP users

Time to upgrade your operating system?

Johan Andersson, technical director at EA DICE, has revealed a nugget of information on his twitter feed that may be bad news for those of you who are clinging on to Windows XP.

"Frostbite 2 is primarily developed for DX11. XP & DX9 is _not_ supported, 64-bit OS is recommended. Lots of time to upgrade if you havent!"

Oh well, you probably knew you had to get with the times one of these days. Meanwhile we are awaiting the first solid information on the actual game.
