Final Fantasy XIII: "April 2010 at the earliest"

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has commented on when their flagship title Final Fantasy XIII will ship in Europe and North America and it won't be until fiscal 2010 at the earliest (starts April 2010). Final Fantasy XIII is expected to ship before the end of the year in Japan (exclusively on PS3), and even it was expected to launch in the spring overseas some fans no doubt were still hoping for a release here before the end of 2009. Not to be apparently.
