Prototype hits Xbox Live

With existence of a sequel revealed at the Spike VGAs, Activision and developer Radical Entertainment has announced the original Prototype is now available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace.

A digital copy of the game, which weighs in at 6.8 GB and costs £19.99, can also be won via the Prototype 2 fanpage on Facebook. Click through for details.

Speaking of the sequel's emergence, Radical Studio Head Ken Rosman said: "When PROTOTYPE surpassed 2MM units we knew gamers would want a sequel to find out what happens next with Alex Mercer...the team here at Radical is sincerely grateful to the fans and we are laser focused on delivering an even bigger and better experience with PROTOTYPE 2!"
