New Ace Combat 7 trailer starts a war

The very first trailer we got from Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown showed a person jumping from a giant space elevator - not exactly what you'd expect from an Ace Combat game, but now we know the structure's significance.

Today's trailer reveals that the fictional country of Osea has just built the elevator, and that they've built it in the Kingdom of Erusea's territory. Now, you don't have to know much about international politics to understand that this leads to a less-than-stellar relationship between the two nations, and in fact, it would seem that it leads to both a political and technological war.
