Hellblade doesn't actually delete your save if you die too much

Yesterday we reported that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice deletes your save if you die too much, a feature that was making waves across the internet following the release of the game, but it appears we were duped, just like many others, as PCGamesN confirmed.

In fact, no matter how many times you die, your save file will not be deleted as some had claimed, or your game progress reset. It appears that the corruption spreads according to how far you are in the game, and with a false knowledge of the possibility of getting your save file deleted, this creates an artificial tension in your journey.
