No 3D in Little Big Planet 2

Stereoscopic 3D has been cut...

If you were looking forward to playing Little Big Planet 2 on your stereoscopic 3D TV this January you're in for a disappointment. The feature that was promised at E3 last summer won't make into the full game. This was revealed in a post on the official Playstation blog yesterday where a reader asked about 3D in a comment and Mark Valledor, SCEA, replied: "Sorry, no 3D this time around."

Oh well, hold on to your 3D goggles as Sony claim to have 50 PS3 titles with stereoscopic 3D in development.

I think LBP would have been a game that's absolutely perfect for 3D. Of course, I won't miss it as I don't have a 3D-TV. However, with the setting of the game it would be better posed to actually benefit from the 3D-thingy. Unlike for instance Black Ops which is too much action to allow the player to enjoy the depth of the image.
