AionGuard - next from Avalanche
Avalanche Studios recently lost two big publisher contracts - one of them was for AionGuard - a game that has made the cover of the next issue of respected British trade magazine EDGE. A pretty big step towards securing a new publisher one would think... Avalanche founder Christofer Sundberg told Gamereactor they are currently in negotiations over a new publishing deal.
AionGuard is an open world fantasy game that mixes flying on dragons with sword fighting and what promises to be a huge battlefield. The game has been in development for two years.
Avalanche Studios are also working on Just Cause 2, the sequel to their first title, and the free to play social hunting game The Hunter, both due this spring.
As soon as we hear or see more from this game we will be sure to report it.
