The U.S. market saw an eleven percentage decline in November compared to last year, even with the launch of a new Halo, a new Call of Duty and Nintendo Wii U. The top selling game of the month was Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - and according to Gamasutra it sold 7.4 million across PS3 (2.9 million) and Xbox 360 (4.5 million).

While, analyst Michael Pachter went on record stating that the Wii U software performed worse than expected (only New Super Mario Bros. U did good numbers according to Pachter), it should be noted that Wii U hardware supplies were extremely limited.

Microsoft were bullish about their performance, claiming this as their best ever month to date with Xbox 360 products accounting for $1.2 billion in revenue. A total of 1.26 million Xbox 360 units were shifted as Xbox 360 registered its 23rd straight month as the best selling console in the US.

REVIEW. Written by Mathias Holmberg

"It's made up of some of the most boring missions in the history of the franchise...at times this feels like a pastiche - a parody."
