As reported by VG247, one enthusiastic Overwatch fan from Brazil by the name of Mateus Mognon has officially registered a Church for Hanzo in the country, and when we say Church, we mean a religious institution.

Apparently the objective of the whole thing was to show how easy it is to start a religion in the country, as religious institutions don't have to pay taxes, and the process is allegedly quite simple. All you need is an address, five people, a signature from a lawyer, some fees, and a written statute, at which point a notary's office approves the paper and you can apply for tax immunity. Although this is meant to protect religious freedom of any belief, this just demonstrates that it can be easily exploited.

Some of the beliefs of the Church of Hanzo include Tuesdays off for religious studies, and the phrase 'Hanzo main' being prohibited. Oh, and if you're wondering about baptism, that's achieved by playing one Overwatch match.

If you want to hear more about this venture, visit the memoirs. Will you be joining the Church of Hanzo?
