Sony on VR: "we're happy with the way things are going"

During E3 we sat down with global sales and marketing boss Jim Ryan, and one of the things we discussed was the success of PSVR, in particular, its pricing now and moving forwards.

"I think that initially, as we pass the one million mark, the price point feels pretty good and certainly compares very favourably with the other high-end VR offerings that are out there."

Ryan continued: "I think that as time passes and we start to get really serious about building big install bases, price is obviously one of the key levers to pull when you seek to do that. But for right now, we're really happy with the way things are going."

Several VR games were showcased during Sony's E3 press conference, including Skyrim VR, Moss, and The Inpatient, as Sony publically reaffirmed its commitment to PSVR.
