News that won't surprise anybody, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has gone straight to the top of the UK's multi-format sales chart, dislodging Halo 4 after just one week in pole position for Master Chief.

Activision will be delighted that this year is the fourth consecutive year that Call of Duty has been the biggest annual release, making an estimated $500 million worldwide in the first 24 hours of release. Black Ops Declassified was also released on the Vita, and finished 16th.

Halo 4 and FIFA 13 make up the rest of the top three, with Assassin's Creed III dropping down to fourth.

REVIEW. Written by Mathias Holmberg

"It's made up of some of the most boring missions in the history of the franchise...at times this feels like a pastiche - a parody."
