Ubisoft just dropped a teaser trailer for Far Cry 5's big reveal, in the process confirming the setting of the next entry in the series.
Far Cry 5 is going to be set in Hope County, Montana, and you can see what are presumably four aspects of the game world highlighted in the trailer below.
The teaser also supports earlier rumours that the game is going to be a western, although little details in the trailer suggest that it'll have a modern day setting.
Interesting fact time (courtesy of Wikipedia): Montana is the fourth biggest state in the whole of the United States of America, but it's 48th in terms of population density. With that in mind, don't expect to run into too many friendly folk on your travels around what will presumably be an expansive game world filled with lots of angry people.
Why they opted to set the game there and then, we don't currently know for sure, but we're guessing that's one of the things that we'll have clarified when Ubisoft spills the beans to one and all on May 26, at 2pm BST / 3pm CEST.
Stay tuned for that, and stay tuned to Gamereactor for all the details as they land for Far Cry 5 as we edge closer to this year's E3.
