Destiny 2 is looking to expand on every single conceivable aspect of the original, with a fuller narrative and more content to keep players coming back for more. Developer Bungie is even adding more platforms this time around, with a PC version slated for release sometime after the console version. But what about the Switch? Well, that's been deemed "unrealistic".
Recently, IGN took the question to project lead Mark Noseworthy, and he revealed that the game will not be brought over to Nintendo's successful console, simply because of the online-only nature of the game.
"I think it's pretty unrealistic, given we're an online-only game, right? The Switch, because it's a portable - and I love my Switch, I've got Breath of the Wild here, I've got it with me. It's incredible, I love the console, but in terms of where it's at, I don't want [to] leave anyone with the possibility of, like, 'it's a thing we'll consider, maybe next year.' There's no plans right now for Switch."
