Halo 4, the long-anticipated return of Master Chief to Xbox 360, has gone straight to the top of the UK's multi-format sales chart.
Assassin's Creed III has been dispossessed by 343 Industries' first full entry into the Halo franchise, dropping down as it did to second. FIFA 13 also looses one place. Need for Speed Most Wanted and Football Manager 2013 swapped their respective spots in the top five.
Beyond that, WWE 13 dropped down to seventh, and Borderlands 2 surged back up the charts, rising from nineteenth to eighth.
