Long-time fans might have learned already about the main new feature coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch compared to the original Wii U title: its revamped Battle mode. However, besides some new characters and courses, the game also comes with a couple of gameplay tweaks.
With the following video we just captured with the Switch racer in TV mode (Bell Cup, 3DS Neo Bowser City, 100cc) you can notice both the Smart Steering preventing us from falling (a feature for newcomers we just couldn't turn off on this demo) and the new possibility of the double-item, GCN Double Dash style. Is this enough to make you want to get it again on the Switch though?
