Pokémon Sun/Moon has sold close to 15 million copies

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon have only been out for little more than two months (they're pretty good games too, as we said in our review), but both of them have already sold incredibly well.

Nintendo has revealed that more than 14.69 million copies of the two games were sold last year. Considering it's been a month since then, we're pretty certain that it has reached well over 15 million by now. With Mario Kart 7 in second place with 14.82 million last year, that would most likely make the latest Pokémon games the second bestselling game (if combined) on the 3DS. Pokémon X/Y is leading the charge with 16.06 million sold as of December 31 2016, however.

But who deserves the top spot more? Mario Kart 7, Pokémon X/Y, or Pokémon Sun/Moon? We'll let you be the judge of that.
