Frozenbyte reveal roguelike strategy game Has-Been Hero

Frozenbyte, the Finnish indie developer best known for creating the Trine series, is bringing its latest game to Nintendo's new platform. Has-Been Heroes is a strategic action game with roguelike elements which will join the Switch library at launch in March. The game is also heading to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Holding some similarities to the developer's past work, the game sees the player controlling three different characters across three separate lanes, casting spells and chaining combos to defeat the enemies. There are over 300 spells, 200 items, 14 regions and 12 heroes to play around with. It will take advantage of the Switch Joy-Con controller's "HD rumble" feature.

Has-Been Heroes is being published by GameTrust, a division of the retailer GameStop.
