Pokémon Go seems to have had a pretty good end to 2016 in terms of in-app purchases, if data analysts Sensor Tower are to be believed.
The mobile game, according to their data, had their best day for sales since July 18 on December 31, an impressive feat considering summer was the time when everyone was going crazy for the game. On that day alone roughly $4.9 million US dollars was spent, and that entire week saw $22.1 million spent, the highest grossing week in the USA.
Sensor Tower also revealed that Pokémon Go reclaimed the top spot on the app list in the USA as well, and was the most downloaded of the year.
Super Mario Run, however, isn't seeing as good fortunes. The game has dropped out of the top 20 grossing apps in the USA. Which of these games do you prefer?
