FF XIV: PS3 screens

Square Enix has today unveiled the first Playstation 3 screens for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, due out on PC and PS3 in 2013.

The new screens give us a first look at the "easy-to-use" PlayStation 3 user interface, which Square are promising will be "fully customisable... allowing players to set up a button configuration perfect for their personal playing style; and has been designed with the traditional FINAL FANTASY game controls in mind to give the game a classic RPG feel, familiar to any PlayStation 3 RPG gamers."

Accompanying the new PlayStation 3 screenshots, is some new artwork, featuring some of the Primals (who apparently will be central to the plot), and armour sets for the Chocobo mounts featuring in the game.
