The soundtrack to Halo 4 is set to launch on October 22, and a box-set containing remixes by popular names such Caspa, Gui Boratto and Sander Van Doorn is also set to be released on November 6.
The soundtrack has been composed and produced by Neil Davidge of Massive Attack fame (he's also worke with names like David Bowie, Primal Scream, Damon Albarn and Snoop Dogg). There's also a remix competition to enter (see the trailer below).
"It was an honor to compose and produce the Halo 4 score," said Neil Davidge. "Im so proud of the way the OST has turned out and to have had the opportunity to evolve the great legacy of Halo music."
Recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios, the soundtrack will feature "a 16-person hand-picked male tenor/bass choir, 10 females from the London Bulgarian Choir, a full 50 piece orchestra and a whole host of other performers."
The Official Soundtrack for Halo 4 will cost £9.99 at retail (£7.99 for digital download). The Special Edition 2-Disc Box Set will cost £49.99 (for more details on the contents of the Special Edition head this way).
