Elite: Dangerous heads to PS4 next year

Do we dare hope for PSVR support?

We really like Elite: Dangerous, so it was nice to get it on Xbox One in June. Now it's time to see how it plays on the PlayStation 4.

Frontier Developments has revealed that the game will launch on Sony's newest console in the second quarter of 2017, and will include the Horizons season of expansions. The new version will also support the PlayStation 4 Pro, but they don't want to talk specifics yet. We expect to hear more about the new version early next year.
