Activision have rolled out some Hollywood talent for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Gary Oldman (him from Batman) will reprise his role as World at War's Viktor Reznov, while Ed Harris (him from Apollo 13) will be barking lines from the digitised mouth of CIA operative Jason Hudson. Also confirmed is Dark Knight writer David S. Goyer's involvement in "script consultation and story development support", which probably means he's given the Black Ops script a quick once over while sitting on the toilet.

"Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood's finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops' ambitious and immersive single player experience," says Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. "Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise."

Call of Duty: Black Ops remains set for a November 9th release.
