The latest update of the Playstation Store confirmed that Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III will be getting a season pass for DLC. The news was revealed on the US Playstation blog, as the season pass will come included in the Assassin's Creed III: Gold Edition that is available for pre-order now.

An even fancier edition allows PS3/PS Vita owners to buy the Assassin's Creed III Gold Edition plus Assassin's Creed III: Liberation on PS Vita for $119.99.

No price has been set for the standalone season pass, and there is no indication just how much DLC we can expect (other than the fact that it's likely more than $30 worth).
