The 18th free expansion for Eve Online is coming on December 4, it has been announced today.
CCP Games today revealed that Eve Online: Retribution will feature a reworking of Eve's Bounty system, allowing players to place bounties on each other. Crimewatch is a new flagging system that'll clearer show the consequences of actions taken in-game.
Destroyers, frigates and cruisers will be rebalanced in what CCP are calling: "A tremendous game balancing effort that will lead to massive play style refreshments for pilots of all skill levels."
Other tweaks and changes include four new Tier 2 destroyerers, NPC artificial intelligence, factional warfare, sound design and changes to the UI.
"This is the perfect followup to a recent series of well-received expansions in which we've put even more control over the game universe in the hands of our players," said executive producer Jon Lander. "Limitless human conflict and real consequences for your actions: sounds like a compelling dramatic setting to me."
