Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam Workshop

Mod support coming in October.

Good news for zombie hunters everywhere, Valve has revealed that Steam Workshop support is coming for Left 4 Dead 2 next month.

Although no specific dates are mentioned in the developer's blog, they do mention that support will be rolled out across Windows, Mac and Linux.

As well as access to new maps, weapons and items, Valve are also releasing an expanded scripting tool to encourage "deeper and more varied experiences inside of Left 4 Dead 2."
