Xcom multiplayer gameplay

There are plenty of people keeping a keen eye on Xcom: Enemy Unknown, the series reboot by Firaxis (and we're among them).

The original game is much loved by fans, and perhaps the only thing that prevented a virtual riot after its announcement (remember how well the other Xcom went down), was the fact that it's being developed by Civilization creators Firaxis.

In this gameplay trailer we get to see a full game of competitive PvP multiplayer, with lead designer Jake Soloman taking on a fan of the original called Jeff. If you've got your eye on this one, then it's definitely worth a look, because there is plenty of action to savour, and new units to check out. The game's due to be released next month.
