Veteran voices Agent 47

"We were just playing hard to get."

David Bateson, who has voiced Agent 47 in the Hitman games ever since the first one will be reprising his role in Hitman: Absolution.

IO Interactive brand director Jon Brooke had the following to say on the casting:

"IO and Bateson have been bed fellows for over a decade and like all long running relationships sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder. Looking back I think we were just playing hard to get."
