Sci-fi strategy title Stellaris has just received a 1.2 update codenamed Asimov, which brings with it a whole host of new features and improvements.

Paradox has released a lengthy list detailing all of the changes made to the game in a <a hef="https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/asimov-update-1-2-released-checksum-2352-not-for-problem-reports.953141/">changelog on their official blog</a>.

For those unwilling to sift through the lengthy blogpost detailing the changes, they have also produced a summary highlighting three key areas: improved diplomacy, improved visuals and miscellaneous.

Highlights include borders being open to everyone by default and also three new map modes, as well as new and improved skyboxes to make the game that much sleeker.
