Have you already read our hands-on preview of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild? Good. Now, how about more than 30 minutes of exclusive gameplay as we show you many new survival features, the huge open-world, and some clues regarding the game's plot?

Here you can watch us playing the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the very first time on Wii U, trying to get to grips with the many new gameplay features. We take a look at the Wolf Link Amiibo companion, the revamped inventory system (now with armour, materials/ingredients, or important items) or the survival temperature/noise meters.

We also try out the weapon throwing ability, the new jumping/climbing feature, and the map with interactive stamps. And let's not forget how to approach an enemy camp, change time in the day/night cycle, or cook up some tasty grub. On top of all that there's also our inability to kill a cute little squirrel.

In the second demo for the new Zelda on Wii U at E3 2016 we learn/guess some tidbits about the storyline of the game, and of course we keep learning about the new survival gameplay mechanics.

"Open your eyes, wake up Link", says first voice in the series before asking us to bring back the light to Hyrule. It's the intro and first minutes of the game. There's some sci-fi Sheikah technology, the GamePad Slate... and we listen to the old man, visit the Temple of Time and pray to a rather familiar Statue of the Goddess. What's the mystery behind the 100+ Shrines? And who is the Beast? We can't wait to find out when Breath of the Wild lands on Wii U and NX next year.
