Fresh out of Comic Con, Microsoft have revealed their limited edition Halo: Reach bundle, which contains, most notably, a silver limited edition Halo: Reach themed 250GB Xbox 360 Slim, replete with two limited edition wireless pads. The pack also contains the standard (refreshingly un-limited edition) version of Halo: Reach, a token for the limited edition Elite armor set, an episode of the animated Halo series Halo Legends and a Halo: Reach-themed Xbox 360 wired headset.
It's available now for pre-order at £249 ($399), for release on September 14th.
It also makes Halo noises, as Xbox Live's Major Nelson tweets: "The Halo: Reach console makes a Halo inspired sound when you turn it on, and another one (shield power up) when you eject the drive."
When pressed for further details, Xbox Community Manager Graeme Boyd described the disc tray noise as "WEEWOOWAHWOO", while Inside Xbox's Andy Farrant disagreed, claiming the noise was more like "ooooooOOOOOH". Pictures of the new box are below - it genuinely is the sexiest looking Xbox to date, if we may be so bold.
