There's not nearly enough submarine simulators released these days, but fortunately, that's about to change thanks to Deep Water Studio from Warsaw, Poland. They have launched a Kickstarter campaign for a game called UBOOT where you have to endure and survive inhuman conditions during World War II.

Your target is to complete missions and bring the entire crew home, preferably alive and well. UBOOT is inspired by Wolfgang Petersen's master piece Das Boot and has a gameplay that oddly enough is comparable to Fallout Shelter. You need to make sure everyone in your crew is coping or your missions will surely fail, because hungry sailor with low morale don't win any wars.

Every sailor onboard has their own personality, story and so on. Someone might fight alcoholism, another one can be a spy and someone else is just very cranky. Everything has been created down to the tiniest of detalis to make sure WWII buffs get what they want, and realistisc and modern graphics are promised as well.

If you want to be a part of history, live and maybe die in a cramped space in a submarine - head over to the Kickstarter page. Deep Water Studio asks for 20,000 Canadian dollars and has already reached almost $5,000 of them in less than a day on the crowdfunding platform.

There's even a few early bird offers that hasn't been picked yet, if you want to get pledge your support for a little less than asking.
