Assetto Corsa's console version delayed again

A new delay has been announced for the console version of Assetto Corsa, the fascinating racing sim developed by the Italian team Kunos Simulazioni. Although the game has already been delayed (this version was originally scheduled for May, then postponed to June 3), 505 Games and Kunos Simulation today announced a new release date, scheduled for this summer.

More precisely, the new launch date is now set for August 26 in Europe. The statement didn't provide more information regarding the reasons for this latest delay, but we assume that it's due to the studio needing time to make the final fixes and add a last layer of polish to the game.
