When Take Two released the financial results for their second quarter (1 February-30 April) they also revealed that they had sold in 5 million copies of Rockstar San Diego's Red Dead Redemption. An impressive number, and one that has forced the publisher to change their forecast for the full year. They are still expecting a loss, but only between 10 and 30 cents per share compared to the previous forecast of 40 to 60 cents.

Take Two also noted that Grand Theft Auto IV had sold more than 17 million copies worldwide.
