Platinum Games' Hideki Kamiya, whose work include Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Okami and Resident Evil, recently took to Twitter to discuss the merits of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.

Kamiya felt that Sony lacked morals in blatantly ripping off the Smash Bros. concept, and while he seemed happy to lend out P-100 heroes in an upcoming Smash Bros. It was brought up as Kamiya was asked by a fan if he wanted to see Viewtiful Joe in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale - Kamiya first said "ask Capcom", as they own the character and Platinum Games don't have a stake in the franchise created while they were known as Clover Studios, but he then went on to say he didn't want to see Viewtiful Joe in it as he didn't like the game.

As predictable gamers took to Twitter to accuse Kamiya of ripping off some games - and we're sure the game director came to regret opening this particular can of worms. Or perhaps he just laughed it off.
