Gearbox has revealed (via their blog) that Borderlands 2 will be released uncut, meaning that players from usually strict countries will be able to experience bandits that will "explode into bloody chunks of awesomeness".
The studio has also announced a "Gore Toggle" for those too squeamish for "bloody chunks", making the game decidedly less violent.
Whilst the game is preparing for its assault on retail, Gearbox are working hard on DLC. A new character called the Mechromancer has been revealed, and she'll be free (along with the Vault Hunter's Relic and the Gearbox Gunpack) to those who pre-order the title and sign up to the Premiere Club.
"It's well worth paying a visit as Gearbox continue to prove that they best understand how DLC should look, work and cost."
